An act to Provide for transcribing, certain Records
Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the state of Illinois represented in the General assembly. That the clerks of the County Commissioners Courts of the Counties of Warren[,] ^Henry^[,] and Knox, shall pay to each of said counties, out of the monies collected from the delinquent list, of lands for the year 1838, the following sums, to the county Commissioners of warren County the sum of four hundred dollars, And to the County Commissioners of Knox County the sum of Four hundred Dollars ^& to the county of Henry Three hundred Dollars^ for the purpose of enabling the counties aforesaid to pay for transcribing certain Records, according to the provisions of two several acts, one “An act to provide for transcribing certain records therein named approved Feb[February] 12. 1835. the other “An act concerning the transcribing certain records, approved January 16. 1836
Provided the county Commissioners of the aforesaid ^Counties ^ shall comply with the provisions of the aforesaid recited acts within twelve months after the passage of this act
