An act to relocate part of a State road leading from Quincy to M^cCoumb

Sec[Section] 1^st Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly
That, B. Whitaker, Johnathan Marlowe ^Sevier Tadlock^, and S. B. Garnett, of the County of Hancock are hereby appointed commissioners to relocate a part of the State road leading from Quincy in Adams county to M^cCoumb in M^cDonough County

Sec 2^d Said commissioners or a majority of them shall meet in the town of Plymouth in Hancock county, on or before the first day of May next, or within three months thereafter, and after being duly sworn by some Justice of the peace of said county, to faithfully and impartially relocate said road, shall commence at or near the town of Plymouth in Hancock county, and relocate said road to the south line of said county, upon the most suitable ground so as to intersect said road again where said road croses the line between Hancock and Adams County ,1 and when the said road shall have been thus relocated it shall be deemed a public State road and shall be kept in repair as such

Sec 3^d Said commissioner shall receive for their servises a reasonable compensation, to be paid out of the county treasury of Hancock county by order of said county court, So much of said road as said commissioners shall deem expedient to change is hereby vacated
