Sec[Section] 1. Be it Enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the general Assembly, that Duebarts Dempsey of Franklin County, and Daniel Treat of Union County, be and they are hereby appointed commissioners to review mark and Locate a Road from the Town of Bainbridge to Jonesborough, on the Nearest and best rout taken in [...?] consideration the general Locality of the country.

Sec 2. Said commissioners Shall meet at the Town of Bainbridge in franklin county, on the third Monday in may next or as soon theirafter as practable and after being first duley Sworn Be fore Some Justices of the pease Faithfully, to perform the dueties Required of them by this act, Shall then procead to review mark and Locate Said Road and Shall mark duplicate reports to the

County commissioners, Clerks of their Respective counties, and by them to Be filed in their respective offices, of the principle points by which said Road passes in said counties.

Sec 3. Said road when so [Located?] Laid out Shall be a public highway, and the county commissioners court of the said counties Shall cause the Same to be opend four poles wide and be worked and Kept in repair as other State roads. the respective County commissioners courts of Said counties shall allow said Commissioners a reasanable compensation for their Services, to be paid out of their respective county Treasuries, this act to take effect and be in fource from and after Its passage
