Sec[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly, That so much of the state Road leading from the Rocky Ford on Salt Creek in Logan County, to the rapids of the Illinois River, as lies between little Mackinaw and Big Mackinaw, shall be and is hereby altered as follows, commencing at a bridge in the land between the farms of Robert Hughes and Thomas F. Rails back on little Mackinaw, thence north on the center line of Section, to the north line of Section twenty nine, thence west, eighty rods, thence north until it intersects the road as originally laid out.
Sec 2. That the President and Trustees of the Tazewell County Commercial and Fire insurance company hereafter be permitted to loan the capital stock of said company when collected on personal security. And all the provisions of the tenth section of the act of Incorporation approved March the second. one thousand eight hundred and thirty ni[ne] shall apply to money so loaned as well as money loaned on land and secured by mortgage on real estate, And that the said company may lend money either on personal or real security at a rate of interest not exceeding twelve per cent per annum and that the title of said company, shall be changed and hereafter be called, the Pekin Insurance Company
