AN ACT to legalize the survey and relocation of part of a State road therein named.

Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the survey and relocation of a part of the State road, leading from Peoria, to Burlington, as made by Benjamin Tompkins, Kenner Brent, and Matthew J. Cox, in Warren county, be, and the same is hereby legalized, and the county commissioners’ court of Warren county is hereby authorised to receive and record the report in the same manner as though the survey and relocation
had been made in conformity to the law authorising the resurvey and relocation.

1On December 13, 1839, Representative Wyatt B. Stapp introduced HB 21 in the House of Representatives. On December 28, the Senate passsed the bill. On January 18, 1840, the Council of Revision approved the bill and the act became law.
