Darrow, Jesse

Flourished: Sangamon County, Illinois

From April to July of 1832, Darrow served with three different militia companies fighting the Black Hawk War; in two of those companies, he served alongside Abraham Lincoln. Later that year, he purchased federal land in Christian County.
