Ludlum, Cornelius

In 1840, Ludlum was the head of a large household in Morgan County, Illinois. During 1847-48, he rented Abraham Lincoln's home in Springfield, while Lincoln was serving in Congress. Ludlum was a member of the Masons. In 1849, he emigrated to California.
