Crooked Creek (Brown Co.)

Known officially as La Moine River since 1933, Crooked Creek is a 125-miles tributary of the Illinois River. It begins in southwest Warren County and flows through Henderson, McDonough, Hancock, and Schuyler counties before entering the Illinois River four miles southwest of Beardstown. One course forms part of the border between Brown and Schuyler counties.
