Sec 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General assembly.

That the Sheriffs of the county^ies^ of Sangamon Morgan, Washington Franklin, ^&^ Fayette be and are hereby allowed untill the first monday in June next to settle with the county-commissioners courts of their respective Counties, for the Tax collected ^able^ for and during the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty four, provided said Sheriffs shall pay over to the Treasurer of their respective Counties on the first monday of March next, all the money that may at that time have ^been^ collected for the taxes aforesaid
