sec.[Section] 5 That John L. Ewing ^of schuyler county^ be and he is hereby appointed in Lieu of Edward Doyle, one of the commissioners for the purposes mentioned in an act entitled an Act to Locate a state Road from mount sterling in Brown county to macomb in McDonough County. approved February 22d 1839.
sec. 6 The time mentioned in said act the second section of said act for the commissioners to meet and prepare the duties required of the in said act shall be extended to one year from and after the passage of this act
