Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That the Fox River in the Counties of Lasalle, Kane, and M^cHenry from the confluence with the Illinois River at Ottawa to the nothern boundary of this State, is hereby declared a navigable stream, and shall be deemed and held a public highway

This act shall take effect from and after its passage
