Sec[Section] 1 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the General Assembly That the Fox River in the Counties of Lasalle, Kane, and McHenry from the confluence with the Illinois River at Ottawa to the nothern boundary of this State, is hereby declared a navigable stream, and shall be deemed and held a public highway
This act shall take effect from and after its passage
