Christiana W. Sinclair married Robert Boal in Reading, Ohio in May 1831. The couple would eventually have three children. They resided in Reading for a year before moving to Cincinnati, where Robert was practicing medicine. In 1836, they moved to Illinois, settling in Lacon. They remained in Lacon until 1862, when they moved to Peoria, Illinois.
