AN ACT to amend an act, entitled “An act to locate a State Road from Quincy in Adams County to Macomb in M’Donough County,” approved, February 12th, 1833.

Sec.[Section] 1. Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly, That the commissioners named in the act to which this is an amendment, or a majority of them, shall proceed to survey, mark and locate said road from Quincy to Fairfield in Adams county, and from thence to Macomb in M’Donough county, according to the provisions of the act to which this is an amendment, previous to the first day of August next.2

1Archibald Williams introduced SB 36 in the Senate on December 30, 1834. The Senate passed the bill on January 3, 1835. On January 7, the House of Representatives referred the bill to a select committee. The select committee reported back the bill without amendment on January 8, and the House passed it on January 9. On January 17, the Council of Revision approved the bill and the act became law.
