Set[Section] 1st Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois represented in the general Assembly, That the skillet fork of the little Wabas River be and it is hereby declared a Navigable Stream and public High way of this State, from, Samuel Slocomb s’ Mill on said River in Marion County to its Confluence with said Little Wabash River.
Sect 2nd That the little Wabash River, be and it is hereby declared a navigable Stream and public high way of this state from where the Nation^al^ Road crosses the same to its confluence with the great Wabash River.
Sect 3d And be it further enacted: That Elm River be and the same is hereby declared a navigable Stream and public high way of this State, from where the State road leading from Fairfield to Maysville crosses the same to its confluence with the little Wabash River
Sect 4th And be it further enacted; That an act entitled an act authorising John L Evans to erect a mill dam across Macaupin Creek, approved December 27th 1822, Be and the same is hereby repealed; and that the said Macaupin Creek is hereby declared a Navigable Stream, and public high way of this State from where the road leading from Carrolton to Alton now crosses said Creek to its Confluence with the Illinois River.
Sect 5th This act to be in force from and after its passage.
