Whereas by an act of the Legislature of this State Entitled “an act appropriating a portion of the avails ariseing from the sale of the Saline Lands in Gallatin County, to Internal improvements” approved February 16. 1831, the sum of One hundred and fifty Dollars, was appropriated to the County of Clinton, to be expended under the directions of the County Commissioners Court of said County, in improving the S^t Louis and Vincennes State Road, at or near Beaver Creek, in said County; which said sum has not been yet realized by the County of Clinton and therefore remains unexpended, according to the original design of the Legislature, and whereas said sum is not now needed to improve said State road aforesaid, at or near Beaver Creek aforesaid, therefore

Sec. [Section]1^st Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois Represented in the General Assembly, That the said sum of One hundred & fifty Dollars appropriated to the County of Clinton, by the above recited act, be & the same is hereby Changed from the S^t Louis and Vincennes State Road, to the State road leading from Carlyle to Bellville, to be expended under the direction of the County Commissioners Court of Clinton, in building a bridge across Shoal Creek at the point where the said last mentioned State road crosses said Creek.

Sec. 2^nd The Auditor of public accounts shall,

and it is hereby made his duty to issue his warrant on the Treasurer of State in favor of the County of Clinton, for the sum of One hundred & fifty dollars as aforesaid, whenever Called for by the County Commissioners of Clinton or their authorized agent, to receive the same: provided, that nothing in this act shall be so construed as to require the auditor to issue his warrant on the Treasurer until the money contemplated by the aforesaid act is realized from the saline fund.
