To the county commissioner's court for the county of Sangamon, State of Illinois
We the undersigned respectfully request that your Honorable body pass an order relocating so much of the road leading from Watkin’s Mill via Miller’s ferry to the county line in the direction of Pekin, as lies between the Morgan county line and the Range line dividing Ranges 7 and 8 so as to make the same run from it's present begining on a right line to a point four poles North of the door of Charles Simmons' present dwelling. Thence on a right line to where said road now crosses the afforesaid Range line—2
